Velocity of a body is uniform if it makes equal displacements in equal durations of time.

Velocity of a body is uniform if it has a zero acceleration.

If a body has uniform velocity, then there is no change in it. Hence acceleration is zero.  A body moves in the same direction.  It has no  external force acting on it. The body has constant speed also.  The body is moving under the influence of its own inertia.  It has a constant momentum too.

       v = u + a t          p = m v
