isobars are line joining places having the same atmospheric pressure.
whereas ,
in chemistry,
isobars are atoms having same mass number but different atomic numbers. for eg. calcium and argon ,both have mass number as 40 but their atomic numbers are different. The atomic number of calcium is 20 whereas that of argon is 18.
