Weathering causes the disintegration of rock near the surface of the earth. Plant and animal life, atmosphere and water are the major causes of weathering. ✌️✌️ hey mate,

➡️Weathering is the result of the interactions of air, water, and temperature on exposed rock surfaces and prepares the rock for erosion.

➡️ Mechanical weathering is the process by which rocks are broken down into smaller pieces by external conditions, such as the freezing of water in cracks in the rock.

thanks...
nice to help you ✌️✌️
