FINAL ANSWER:-

3 is the degree of polynomial

SOLUTION:-

(x+1) (x^{2}-3x+6)  [∵first simplify equation↓↓↓]

=(x+1) (x^{2}-3x+6)

=x(x^{2}-3x+6)+1(x^{2}-3x+6)

=x^{3}-3x^{2}+6x+x^{2}-3x+6

=x^{3}-3x^{2}+x^{2}+6x-3x+6 [←now simplify it]

=x^{3}-2x^{2}+3x+6

∴ Here exponents (degrees) are :-

3,2,1

So,

x³ is the grates variable degree

hence 3 is the degree of polynomial

hope this helps....
