Actually denticity is the number of atoms in a ligend which can bind to the central metal atom atom to make atom the co-ordination compound.
In lead poisoning EDTA (Ethylene diamine tetraacetate)is used as ligand which is hexadentate i.e the denticity of EDTA is 6.
EDTA binds with metal in octahedral manner by two N-atom & four acetate oxygen atoms.
