Given :-

  • Perpendicular = 80cm
  • Base = 60cm

 \\  \\

To Find :-

  • Diagonal ( Hypotenuse )

 \\  \\

Solution :-

 \\

Using Pythagoras Theorem

⇛ (Hypotenuse)² = (Perpendicular)² + (Base)²

⇛ (Hypotenuse)² = ( 80 )² + ( 60 )²

⇛ (Hypotenuse)² = 80 × 80 + 60 × 60

⇛ (Hypotenuse)² = 6400 + 3600

⇛ (Hypotenuse)² = 10000

⇛ Hypotenuse = √10000

⇛ Hypotenuse = 100cm

So, correct option is 2, i.e 100cm

Answer:

GIVEN DETAILS,

Perpendicular = 80 cm

Base = 60 cm

(Hypotenuse) Diagonal = ?

⭐Using the Pythagoras Theorem,

(Hypotenuse)^2 = (perpendicular)^2 + (Base)^2

Hypotenuse^2 = (80)^2 + (60)^2

Hypotenuse^2 = (80 * 80) + (60 * 60)

Hypotenuse^2 = 6400 + 3600

Hypotenuse^2 = 10000

Hypotenuse = √10000

                     = 100 cm

Hence, The correct option would be 2)100 cm.
