according to Physics mass is the amount of matter stored in a body or you can think that much is a sum total of substances which is filled or contained by a body for example in solid metal box mass is the amount of all the iron atoms present in that box
but weight is the force by which that mass is pulled towards the Earth due to the gravitational force or Gravity as you know gravity changes when you move from equator to poles so wait also changes from equator to pole but mass of an object will not change anywhere in the universe
