what is the difference b/w well and tube well?

wells can supply any amount of water to crops.
but tube wells supply only particular amount of ground water.

wells dont need electricity but tube wells need it

WELL doesn't have any limited amount of water, it can supply any amount of water to different locations like it is used for crops...... While if you want to take out water from TUBEWELL then you need to pump first and then you'll get some amount of ground water.
