What is the difference between 2H and H₂ ??

2H means two atoms of hydrogen and H2 means two molecules of hydrogen

Heya,

2H and H2 are completely different. 2H refers to 2 number of Hydrogen atoms while H2 refers to a molecule of Hydrogen. They have same number but are completely different.

gargananya2: 2H refers to 2 atoms of hydrogen and remember that this isn't stable as it doesn't have a covalent bond which is required to keep it stable as its outermost shell doesn't have a duplet while h2 MEANS 2 molecules of 1 atom. this has a covalent bond and is stable as it has the required duplet
