embryo is the starting stage of the cells a group of cells after a few time of a fusion and the foetus is the developed body which we can identify that it have the body parts and it can be clearly seen in the sonography it mainly seen after the 4 months of the pregnancy

the diff b/w embryo and feotus is that a embryo refers to the first stage of development of a baby from the moment of fertilization . it is called a foetus from the eight week of conception.
