connective: It is a word or a group of words that join two or more sentences. It can be a conjunction or a connective adverb.
Eg - The sky looked as if it would rain thr whole day. However it didn't rain at all.
However is the connective here.
conjuction: It is a word that joins clauses within a sentence. It is of two types, (i )sub - ordinating conjunction and (ii )coordinating conjunction.
Eg - She could see her rescuers at a distance yet she couldn't call for help because she was numb with fear.
The words 'yet' and 'because' are conjunctions.
