What is the difference between a haveli and bungalow?

Haveli is a traditional townhouse or mansion in India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh, usually one with historical and architectural significance. whereas bungalowis a type of building, originally developed in the Bengal region in South Asia. The meaning of the word bungalow varies internationally. Common features of many bungalows include verandas and being low-rise.
