The differences between a horse's diet and a human's diet are:

  • Horses are herbivores and can only eat plants while humans are omnivores and hence they can eat both vegetarian and non vegetarian meals.
  • Horses intake a large quantity of fibre rich foods because they have a very sensitive and long digestive system. Horses generally eat things like grass, hay, little fruits and vegetables, haylage etc.
  • On the other hand human's diet has fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, legumes, protein rich foods, good fats, etc.
