As we know whenever our food our others. like soaps and chips gets contaminated we get upset. but we don't do it longer as we have preservatives and anti oxidants what are they ? yes this reaction is arisen when we tell about this additives , and people get confused that both are same , according to them both works same but they don't know they don't work same indeed there is difference in their reaction.
industry and bigger factories are rely on Both the additives because their products would get attacked by various phenomenon like rancidity (oxidation) and microbial attacked , then they came to know about this additives to safe their products ,

Differences are -
 \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: PRESERVATIVES \:
=> As the name suggest. Preservatives are additive or in easy language they are protectors that protects food materials from microorganisms , to contaminate it

=> For example - Vinegar etc

 \: \: \: \: \: ANTIOXIDANTS \:
