They both are heterogenous in nature, however, in a suspension the size of the particles is very large and is visible, while this is not the case in colloids.
Also, in suspensions the particles settle down after a while whereas in colloids the solution remains stable and no settling of particles take place.
Even tyndall effect is not constant in suspensions whereas it always takes place in colloids.
