A voter is that person who elects the representatives of the Party...
And the A candidate is that person who stands from their respective parties ...by whom a voter casts his/her vote...

The difference between a voter and a candidate are as follows:

  • The voter's minimum age for voting is 18 years on the other hand to be a candidate in general Lok Sabha elections the minimum age is 25 years.
  • A person who elects the candidates is a voter. A person who contests the election is known as a candidate.
  • All the citizens who attain the age of 18 years become voters. To be a candidate, the minimum age is 25 years.
