Fusion of gametes(sperm & ova) leads to the formation of zygote.....zygote is known as embryo for the first two months of the Gestation period.....from the third month, it’s known as foetus...

ZYGOTE :

the Pollen tube which carries the male gametes , pushes its way down through the style and into the ovule through the micropyle .onemail kamut fuses with the excel in the ovule, Giving rise to the zygote .this is called fertilization .


EMBRYO :

after fertilization, The ovule develops into the seed .The zygote grows into an embryo and ovary forms the fruit .
