BASE:-A BASE IS A SUBSTANCE WHICH GIVES OH MINUS IN ITS AQUEOUS SOLUTION.




ACCORDING TO BRONSTED LOWRY ACID AND BASE A SUBSTANCE WHICH GAIN PROTON IS KNOWN AS BASIS.




FOR EXAMPLE OF BASES ARE:-




SODIUM HYDROXIDE.
