In Active resistance we take some actions to save us and it includes to be offencive on our attackers.
Passive resistance means bearing the actions done upon us without any reactionary offencive actions on our attackers.
Example- During Non-violent movements it was taught not to attack but bear unarmed the actions of the British forces.
