acute disease is a disease which stays and effects the body temporarily where as chronic disease stays for a long period of time and has a lasting effect on the body

acute disease when cured there is a small chance for it to come back where as chronic disease can stay with u life long

examples of acute disease are cold and cough and for chronic HIV tuberculosis
