What is the difference between aerobic respiration and anaerobic respiration

Aerobic respiration:- respiration which occur in the presence of oxygen is called aerobic respiration
Examples:- respiration occur in all living organism

Anaerobic respiration :- respiration which occur in the absence of oxygen
Example:- fermentation

aerobic respiration take place in the mitochondria and requires oxygen and glucose and produces carbon dioxide , water , and energy . this process requires oxygen and therefore following anaerobic respiration there is oxygen dept in the cell . as oxygen is needed to break down the lactic acid produced.
