Air is the mixture of gases that forms the atmosphere, which we have all around us. When this air begin to move fast enough to matter, we call it wind.

Air is atmospheric gases around you, as your skin is pressing out with approximately the same pressure the air is pressing in to the surface of your skin you do not feel the pressure.
Wind is simply moving air that applies pressure, thus you feel it on your skin, or it moves sailboats, or rips apart buildings. All of these things are due to the change in pressure as air moves.
