although - in spite of the fact that
eg :- Although the sun was shining it wasn't that warm.

eventhough - despite te fact that
eg:- Eventhough he was bigger , he never looked down on me .

though - despite the fact that
Though they were speaking in undertones, Ram could here them .

As conjunctions although and though are interchangeable . Although is considered more formal than though , though both forms appear regularly in both formal and informal writing . Though is also an adverb meaning however or nevertheless .

Although and even though have a similar meaning to despite in and in spite of . We use all of these words to say that thing is surprising , unusual or unexpected in relation to other thing . They have the same meaning but even though is little stronger than although.
