What is the difference between an alcohol, and an alkane? What is the difference between a secondary alcohol, and a primary alcohol?

in alcohol there is hydroxyl group present in alkane their is normal chain oh carbohydrate.in primary alcohol oH group attach with primary hydrogen and in secondary alcohol oH group attach with secondary hdrogen.
