The essential difference between animals and humans: The essentialdifference between animals and humans is the ability to self-reflect. A chimpanzee, our closest genetic relative (around 99% similar in DNA), can be taught to do basically everything a human can, though of course at a more generally primitive level

• The essential difference between animal and humans is the ability to self reflect.

• Animals can consist of many kinds of species for example dog, cat, wolf and lion etc but Humans refers to only one kind of specie that is Homo Sapiens.

• Some people think that the main difference between humans and animals is the use of language. We do not bark or bray or quack instead we have special language to communicate with each other.

• Humans mainly have the ability to think with their minds. Animals of course have minds too but they can't think so specifically as humans. Humans specially have brains to solve difficult problems.

• In addition we also have the ability of introspection which means describing our own thoughts and our emotions and feelings unlike animals.

Hope it helps you!!!...
