Plant and Animal Tissues consist of different kinds of cells -- Plant cells have a cellulose cell wall, have large central vacuoles, dictyosomes, etc. whereas animal cells have complex golgi apparatus, only a cell membrane, central nucleus, small vacuoles, etc.

Basically, most differences between these tissues are cellular.

The types of such tissues also vary: Plant Tissues are of types Permanent and Meristematic. However, Animal Tissues can be of types: Epithelial, Muscular, Connective, and Nervous.
