what is the difference between antibody and antitoxin

antibodies are nothing but white blood cells present in our immune system to protect us from harmful diseases.
antitoxin is against the the toxic substances such as snake bite has a medicine.
it has a medicine to kill the toxin so it is known as antitoxin

an antigen is not necessarily a toxin. so an antitoxin can an antibody but not all antibodies are antitoxin. antitoxins is something that neutralizes the toxins released by bacteria. ...they can be formed among the cell wall of bacteria as well as ones all antigens
