What is the difference between apospory and diplospory?

hey mate........

both diplospory and apospory are forms of apomixy where a seed is formed without fertilisation.

In diplospory, the egg apparatus is formed from a nucleus cell other then the mother cell by mitotic division. the egg forms the zygote without fertilisation.

In apospory, the egg apparatus is formed from a cell other than nuclleus cells .
