What is the difference between assembly elections and lok sabha elections?

1assembly elections held at state level but lok sabha election held at national level
2In state assembly mla and mlc were choosen from different constituencies but in lok sabha mp's were choosen from different constituencies
3They make laws which implement only on state but lok sabha laws implement on whole country

There are 3 types of elections. They are-

1. Lok Sabha (General Elections)

2. Rajya Sabha (State Assembly)

3. Vidhan Sabha (Upper House)

As you want to know the difference between Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, here I am discussing that:

Lok Sabha is lower house consists of 543 MP elected by the country people. Prime Minister are elected by this. The election happens once in every 5 years.

Total 245 member including Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha are nominated from different states. It never heppens like lok sabha/Vidhan Sabha in 5 years , but 2 or 3 members retire every 2 years.
