Answer:
There are 3 types of elections. They are-
1. Lok Sabha (General Elections)
2. Rajya Sabha (State Assembly)
3. Vidhan Sabha (Upper House)
As you want to know the difference between Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, here I am discussing that:
Lok Sabha is lower house consists of 543 MP elected by the country people. Prime Minister are elected by this. The election happens once in every 5 years.
Total 245 member including Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha are nominated from different states. It never heppens like lok sabha/Vidhan Sabha in 5 years , but 2 or 3 members retire every 2 years.
