The  Associative law allows the removal of brackets from an expression and regrouping of the variables. Thus, the result is unchanged like a + (b + c) = (a + b) + c or a . (b . c) = (a . b) . c. Eg- 1 + (2 + 3) = (1 + 2) +3 = 6.

Commutative law is a law which proves that if we reorder the terms or variables in case of addition or multiplication, then the result remains the same like a+b=b+a or a . b=b . a. Eg- 1 + 2 = 2 + 1 = 3.
