What is the difference between astral Ray's and spindle fibers?

The fibers run in between two daughter centrioles forming a shape of a spindle. The fibers radiating from the centriole form a star-shaped structure. asters are the radiating rays surrounding the centrioles. while the fibers appearing between two daughter centrioles are called spindle fibers.
