atom :- smallest particles of an elements which participate in chemical reaction , but doesn't exist in free state is known as atom. atom has a nucleus in which number of protons , and neutrons exist .around the nucleus number of electrons revolve.
6.023 × 10²³ no of atoms is known as one mole of atoms and weight of it is known as atomic weight .
example :- atomic weight of hydrogen =1.00 g/ mol

molecule :- smallest particles of an compound /species /ions which doesn't participate in reaction but exist in free stare is known as molecule.
in molecule number of atoms present .
so, we can say that molecule is group of atoms.
6.023 × 10²³ number of molecule is known as one mole of molecule and weight of it is kniwn as molecular weight . example :- molecular weight of H2O is ( 2 + 16) = 18 g/mol
