Simple!!
Atomic Radii :-
atomic radii is radius of atom from the outermost electron to Nucleus.
for eg :-
radius of Ca , Mg , Al
but ,
Ionic :- ( may be +ve ion or negative ion ) :- radius of valance electron to their nucleus
simple term, ion means ion is form so that ionic radii may or may not be greater than radii of atom.
For eg :-
Ca 2+
the radii of this ion is less than the original original atomic radii.
but , Ca2-
this ion have more ionic radii as compared to original atomic radii.
so there is difference between:- ionic Radii and Atomic radii
hope it help you!!
thanks!
