Answer:

Auto means self and trophic means nutrition, when the food materials are made by the organism by themselves and not received by other sources, called autotrophic nutrition,. Green plant produce their own food molecules by photosynthesis ,is the example of autotrophic nutrition.

Heterotrophic nutrition:- hetero means others and trophic means nutrition , when the organism depends upon other sources for the nutrition and not capable to make the food by it’s own, such type of nutrition is called heterotrophic nutrition. All herbivores, carnivorous and omnivores are the type of heterotrophic nutrition.
