The organisms that can prepare their own food are known as Autotrophs .

Example Plants

The organisms that depends on any other organisms for their nutrition and good are known as Heterotrophs .

Example Carnivores, Herbivores

There is one more type called Saphrophytes that depends on deaf and decaying matter for their nutrition and food.

Example Fungi.

Eg. green plants

those organism which gets ready made food which is provided by autotrops like plant are called heterotrops .

Eg cat , dog etc
