Answer: Well, 1st it would like to clear bar which means steel which is used in beam and column. Now, let's differentiate between beam and column :-
1. Beams are used to support slabs and it is also used to transfer load from slab to column
2. Column are vertical members which are used to support beams, slabs and it also transfers the entire load of the buildimg to the foundation
