Explanation:

Dark matter passes through us every second without significant effect. Antimatter annihilates matter, producing intense gamma photons. A large amount of antimatter would annihilate with an equal amount of matter causing a sizable explosion. Anti-electrons, also called positrons, are a form of antimatter.

Antimatter is a very well-known quantity, used in both in technology and research everyday. It’s been known about for nearly 100 years.

Dark matter makes up 85% of the mass of the Universe — it is 5 times more prevalent than ordinary matter by mass.

Dark matter has several properties: it is massive, it interacts with matter more weakly than the weak force (which is way weaker than the electromagnetic force or strong force that antimatter interacts with). It doesn’t interact with itself very much (which antimatter does).

So basically nothing about antimatter vaguely resembles what we know about dark matter.
