what is the difference between boilers and layers?


Adityalesnar: an egg laying poultry ki is called layer and the poultry reared for obtaining meat is called broiler

layers are used to get egg.
boilers are heavy in weight.
layers are light in weight.

Need adequate lighting and healthy conditions
Need healthy clean and not overcrowded conditions

Can be used after 20 weeks i.e. when they attain sexual maturity
