Boiling- It is a bulk phenomenon, i.e., the whole of the liquid is involved in boiling.It is a fast process It produces heat it needs heat to take place .
Evaporation- It is a surface phenomenon,i.e., it takes place only from surface.It is a slow process It causes coolingIt doesn't need heat to take place.
