what is the difference between breathing in and respiration ?

while breathing we take the air in our body but in respiration we inhale and exhale means we take air in and again take it out through our nostrils

breathing is a physical process whereas respiration is a biochemical process.
Breathing doesn't produces energy whereas respiration produces energy. Breathing involves lungs whereas respiration involves mitochondria.
