1.Cell wall is a rigid thick structure and can be seen in light microscope. om the other hand, cell membrane is delicate and visible in electron microscope.
2.Cell wall is the outermost layer in plant cell and cell membrane is the outermost layer in animal cells.
3.Cell wall determines cell shape and provides protection. However, cell membrane protects protoplasm and maintains the internal environment.
