What is the difference between centroid and centre of gravity. ​

Centroid depends on shape of object but centre of gravity depends on distribution of mass .

centroid: the centre of mass of a geometric object of uniform density.

Centre of gravity: a point from which the weight of a body or system may be considered to act. In uniform gravity it is the same as the centre of mass.
