Answer:

CI=(1+ 100R ) T −PSI= 100PRT

Given P=10000,T=2,CI−SI=64

10000

⎣⎢⎡ (1+ 100R ) 2 −1 ⎦⎥⎤ − 10020000R =6⇒( 100R ) 2 + 1002R − 1002R

= 1000064⇒( 1100R ) 2 =( 1008 ) 2⇒R=8

∴ Rate of Interest is 8%

Answer:

Principle = 10000 , rate = 8% ,time = 2years

SI = P*R*T/100

= 10000*8*2/100

= 1600

CI = P{( 1+R/100^2)-1}

= 10000{(1+8/100^2)-1}

= 1664 (solution in the picture)

difference between CI and SI = CI - SI

= 1664-1600 = 64
