a colloid is a kind of solution in which the size or solute particles does not dissociate completely therefore it appears to be homog eneous but actually a heterogeneous. the substances which completely dissociate in water are said to be true solution and those substances which are insoluble in water are said to be Suspension. it is a heterogeneous mixture
