what is the difference between combustion and rusting

rusting is the slow process of oxidation while the combustion is fast process.
rusting is occurs on surface of sub. while combution is with wole sub. 
rusting produce small amount of heat which can nigligable and combution produce large amount of heat

Rusting is a very slow process than combustion.
Rusting takes place only in the presence of water and oxygen where as only oxygen is necessary for combustion process.
Rusting process do not evolve  heat or light where as combustion is accompanied by evolution of heat or light
