What is the difference between comets and planets??

I need a brief answer for it.

Planet: planet can support life.
It is a large object that orbits around a star or a stellar remnant.
It is slower than comets.

Comets: comet doesn't support life.
Comets are icy bodies in the solar system that have wide orbits.
