In subsistence agriculture, small-scalefarming is primarily grown forconsumption by the farmer and their family. Sometimes if there is a surplus of food it might be sold, but that is not common. In commercial agriculture, the primary objective is to make a profit.

Commercial Farming is generally done for Commercial purpose while extensive farming is done usually to meet the needs of the own household.
In Commercial farming,Production is done on large scale and capital invested is quite big on the other hand Crops are Produced on a small scale and Capital invested is minor.
