When any crop like Wheat, Bajra is harvested then green manure crops are grown to increase the organic matter & nutrients in the soil. These are grown for a short period of time. COMPOST :→

Compost is the organic matter produced by natural decomposition of materials like yard trimmings, wood chips, paper products and other materials. Adding compost to soil supplies nutrients that are essential for plant growth.
