contact force - muscular force can be applied only when it is in contact with an object. It is known as contact force. Non contact force - when an object didn't applied when two object can't contact each other is non contact force. The force exerted by a magnet is an example of non contact force.

Force:

Force is a physical quantity defined as a push or pull on a body. Force is an external agent in the form of push or pull. force can be different types and can produce different effects. force is always applied in a particular direction.

Types Of Force:

As we know that force is a push or pull. It is caused by the interaction of two objects. as soon as this interaction ceases, the object no longer experience the force.

Some forces can be felt easily, while others are difficult to spot. Different types of interactive forces can be categorised as non- contact and contact force.

Contact Forces:

This forces come into play only when bodies are in contact with each other. For example, when one body is sliding over another, contact forces are acting between them. Whether the bodies will move slow or fast will depend on the magnitude of contact force acting on them. Some important Contact Forces are:

✵Muscular Force

✵Muscular Force

Non-Contact Forces:

These are the forces that come into play when interacting bodies are not in contact with each other or at a distance. it is also referred to as action at a distance. Some important Non- Contact Forces are:

✵Gravitational Force

✵Electrostatic Force

✵Magnetic Force
