Infectious diseases are caused by microscopic germs (such as bacteria or viruses) that get into the body and cause problems. Some — but not all — infectiousdiseases spread directly from one person to another. Infectiousdiseases that spread from person to person are said to becontagious.

Contagious disease are those whose which can spread very quickly by direct contact or through medium of air,water etc .....
Example- chickenpox,tuberculosis,measles....
Non Contagious disease are those which do not spread very quickly. They can't be spread through direct contact but can from water or any other medium...
Example - cholera,typhoid etc....
